TV shows that most teens will love!

By Sylvain Chassagneux

In the past year there has been a major growth in the TV/ film industries because more people (including tons of teens) have been tuning in during their free time to watch their favorite TV shows. Many shows have been able to capture the attention of many teens, and I have to say that I’m one of them. The following are a few ideas of TV shows that you could watch and why you might want to watch them.

1. How to get away with murder
This show is amazing, and I mean it. Not only is there an interesting storyline, but it also brings out an amazing point which is equality. I say this because the main character is a strong African American women, who as we learn is also bisexual. To me the term equality comes through very well in this show.

2. The Vampire Diaries
Perfect for you if you love twilight, and I say this because the main character is a teenage girl who is in love with two boys who happen to be brothers, but in the same time she has to deal with other problems. I guess one thing that you could say the phrase “Mr. Steal yo girl” fits into the storyline.

Lastly,
3. Faking it
Would have to be the show that I personally find most relatable to teens. You have all types of people represented in the show such as rich, poor, LGBTQ, intersex and many more, and all of those people are put into a magnificent storyline. To me this show carries a very strong message to teens today, which is to love yourself no matter what.

These were just three of many popular shows that have been blowing up TV this year. To me, these shows carry a strong message to teens today, and if I had to summarize it into one single sentence I would probably say “Be who you want to be seen as”. I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope you’ll tune into some of the shows that were listed because I know that I will.
